Coletores (Collectors)

COLETORES (COLLECTORS, 2012): intervention performed in the garden of the Pampulha Art Museum (in Belo Horizonte) during the solo exhibit “Lição de Coisas” (“Lesson on Things”). Plastic bags measuring 160 x 70 cm were used to wrap branches of some trees in the garden designed by landscape architect Roberto Burle Marx. As days went by, as the plants transpired, small amounts of water were collected at the bottom of the bags.
