Espelho cego (Blind Mirror)
The installation ESPELHO CEGO (BLIND MIRROR, 2012), especially created for the Pampulha Art Museum (in Belo Horizonte), was realized by attaching curtain tracks and a wide red velvet curtain (7,20 x 23 m) in front of the mirror wall designed by architect Oscar Niemeyer for what was then the Pampulha Casino, thus blocking the wall itself and its reflexive surface. This work belongs to the museum’s permanent collection.
