Zeroº

The work ZEROº comprises 46 color photographs, 30 X 20 cm each. The photographic records result from an action performed in 2001 in a clay mine located in the countryside in the state of Minas Gerais. A number of spheres made out of raw clay were sculpted and photographed in different spots along a creek. The landscape cuts are presented side by side and compose a whole new landscape. When arranging the pictures, the horizon line is purposefully tilted 90º.
